国債・米国債・社債とは何か？
要するに国や有名企業の借金のことで、お金を我々個人投資家が貸し出すため、一定の金利を享受できます。
株とは違うことはお分かりいただけると存じます。
リスクが株よりも低い分、期待利回りも低くなります。
でも、定期預金で預けるよりはよっぽど利率が高い。
満期まで保有すれば、発行体が倒産しない限り元本が戻って来るので、
株のようなリスク負いたくない方や、そうでなくても、分散投資の概念から、株ばかりでなく債券も同じくらいポートフォリオに組み込むべきという考え方があります。
株は長期で保有中、必ず数回は暴落局面に付き合わされることになります。その精神的負担はかなりのものです。
だからこそ、保有してても値動きに振り回されることなく、
日々安心して暮らすためには債券投資は必須と私は考えています。
期中でより好条件の銘柄に乗り換えると複雑な計算が要りますが、
途中で価格がどう変動しても満期まで保有する分には、
元本割れするわけはないので。
気にするとすれば、発行体である企業が倒産するか、
満期まで企業の資金繰りが持つかどうかだけです。
そこで、国債・米国債・社債について
取引する上で最低限知っておかなければならない
ルールに絞って解説したいと思います。
つまり、これさえわかればすぐに
国債・米国債・社債をスタートさせられる
という内容でご案内いたします。
まず、債券投資では、「利率」（クーポン）と最終「利回り」の違いを
知らなければなりません。
同じような言葉でまぎらわしいのは、
債券が満期に最終的な額面で償還されることに由来します。
債券が額面100万円でも、市場の金利の影響を受けて
株と同じ様に価格が上下に振れます。
金利が上昇すれば債券価格は下落し、
金利が低下すれば債券価格は上昇します。
（反対の関係だと覚えればよいです。）
金利が上昇する中、
債券がそのままの利率では価値が相対的に下がるため価格が下落。
金利が下落する中、
債券がそのままの利率でも価値が相対的に上がるため価格が上昇。
話を戻し、
債券が時価110万円で購入すると最終的に100万円で償還される分、
毎年の金利収入の合計から10万円分差し引いた金額が最終的な利益になるので、その利率の事を最終「利回り」と言います。
債券が時価90万円で購入すると最終的に100万円で償還される分、
毎年の金利収入の合計から10万円分加算した金額が最終的な利益になるので、その利率の事を最終「利回り」と言います。
ですので、債券は表面的な「利率」ではなく、
最終的な「利回り」をみて投資判断をすべきです。
格付けについて
投資適格債とは、
発行体の債務不履行（デフォルト）リスクが低く、信用力が高い債権を指し、S&P社ならBBB以上、ムーディーズ社ならBaa以上を取得した債券です。
それ以外の低格付け（投機的格付け）の債券は、
S&P社ならBB以下、ムーディーズ社ならBa以下の債券です。
これらは利息や元本の支払いが滞る（支払われない）債務不履行の可能性が投資適格債と比べ高くなります。また、売りたい時に、希望価格で売れない（買い手が見つからない）流動性リスクを負います。
そのリスクの分、投資適格債より高い利回りが付けられていますが、
プロでもない限り、会社の信用力を見極めるのは困難ですので、
素直に、BBB（Baa）以上の投資適格債から選びましょう。
保有期間について
もちろん、ご自身がどれだけの期間さわらずに
預けておけるのかの個々の事情もありますが、
低金利の時に将来金利が上がる可能性が高ければ、
短期の債券を買って金利が高くなってから乗り換えたり、
高金利の時に長期の債券買えば、将来金利が下がっても
高い利率が維持されますので、
今後の金利動向を加味して保有期間を定めると良いです。
長期債の方が回収リスクが高いので金利は高くなります。
債券の種類を国内と米国で分けると、
国債/日本社債と米国債/米国社債と全部で4種類となります。
①日本の国債について。
1000万円を預けても、今の低金利ですと1年の金利は1万円にも満たないです。これはもう、ただ銀行に預けているのとそんなに変わらない。
ですが、国債は裏技があり。我々の裏技じゃなく、財務省側の裏技です。（政策上、金利増やすことはできないので、別枠キャッシュバックで客寄せしています。）
毎年いつも国債はキャンペーンを実施てまして、
変動10年物ですと、4万円キャッシュバック！（500万円だと1.5万～2万円）
1000万だと0.4％の金利と今の銀行の定期金利では
とても出せない数字になります。
私も、以下の様に活用しています。
↑クリックすると拡大表示します。
なので、寝かすお金があるなら国債へ入れておくべきです。
ただし、最低1年は途中換金できない。1年後からは可能です。
（銀行の定期預金のような途中解約が1年間は最低できない。）
それで、1年後に解約して1ヶ月くらい期間を空ければ、
再び新規キャンペーンに申し込み可能なので、
預入れ1000万円以上なら毎年0.4％の金利を享受できます。
（国債そのものの年2回の利子は解約時に2回分差し引かれるので、
金利は全く享受できず、あくまでキャッシュバック分だけです。）
なので、寝かせておけるならけっこう使えるのです。
ですが、直近、個人向け国債キャッシュバックキャンペーンを
各証券会社が取りやめています。
コロナウイルス感染拡大に伴い、
取り扱い金融機関が顧客勧誘の自粛や窓口対応の縮小などが影響している模様。
探せば今もやっているところはありますので、それを利用するか、
コロナが落ち着けばまた復帰すると思われますので。
②日本の社債について。
国内の社債は有名企業のものですが、国債に比べ信用度は落ちるので、
国債よりは金利は上乗せされますが、大した金利は付きません。
0.3％～1％未満です。銀行の定期金利よりマシという程度。
品ぞろえも少なく、ほぼ常時チェックするジャンルではないです。
ただし、まれにお宝が出現します。
数年前ソフトバンクグループが発行する個人向け社債で
利率が年2.03％で、7年満期で100万円から購入できるものが
一時期販売されてました。
ソフトバンクが倒産しない限り、満期に元本が戻ってきて、
かつ年利2％の金利がもらえる。
ただ、この先当面、金融緩和に拍車がかかり、
市中の貸出金利が低く抑えられている限り、
こうしたものは出てくる余地はないです。
ご注意いただきたいのは、
まれに仕組債と呼ばれる5％くらいの金利が付くものを
よく見かけることになると思いますが、
やめておいた方が良いです。
「仕組」というタイトルが最初についていたら、
気を付けてください。
株や社債などの金融商品に、デリバティブ（金融派生商品）を組み込んだもので、要は日経225オプションをやって金利を取りに行くイメージです。
参照指標が一定内の枠で収まっていれば良いのですが、
大きく上昇すれば早期償還、大きく下落（ノックイン）すれば巨額損失となります。
そう、高い金利は大元の金融商品からではなく、
オプション取引から生み出すので
それなりのリスクがあるからこその高い金利なのです。
なので、オプション売買をする私からすると、
仕組債は見栄えは良いのですが、けっこう怖い商品です。
他にも、劣後債と呼ばれる1％くらい金利が付く社債があります。
発行体の倒産時に、債務弁済順位が優先債務等と比べて
劣後する特約が付いた債券です。
つまり、優先債務返済したらすっからかんで
全く返済を受けられないリスクがあるという事です。
さらに永久劣後債と呼ばれる、上記の条件に加え、
満期が定められおらず、
発行体が存在する限りは利息が払われ続けるもので、
おおよそ初回コール日に償還されますが、
逆に経営が傾き元本が永遠に償還されない可能性をはらんでいます。
会社が倒産しないと確信があれば購入しても大丈夫ですが、
償還については色々条件が付されているので理解した上でどうぞ。
③米国債について。
今はコロナの影響でアメリカも再び大胆な金融緩和が復活してしまい、
低金利のため米国債の妙味が薄れ今は0.5％程度で推移してますが、
また金利が正常に付くようになれば、とても頼もしい金融商品です。
日本と違い、米国の国債は2％～3％も金利が付く世界なので。
それこそ、次のチャンスが来時にある程度円高なら、
資産の半分くらい米国債を買いつけても良いと考えています。
何せ株が暴落する時にむしろ買われるのですから。
リーマンショックの時でも全く米国債は値を下げていません。
米国が倒産？しない限り確実に増えて帰ってくる。
これほど安心な割りに利回りの高い金融商品は
他に無いといって良いでしょう。
米国債を買うには2ステップあります。
①まず円をドルに両替する。
②ドルで米国債を買う。
（事前に両替しなくても円貨決済で証券会社経由で
ドルへ両替してダイレクトに買付もできます。）
一度に2ステップ行う必要はないので、
円高に振れた時に米国債を買う分だけ円を両替して待機させます。
後は、米国債の金利が高くなった時に
10年債などの長期債を買うだけです。
個人的には、なかなか大きく円高にならないので、
両替のタイミングを逸しています。
④米国社債について。
これは、けっこう利回りの高いものが存在し、
ちゃんと調べて買わないとリスクをそれなりに追うことになります。
米国社債を買うのも同じ2ステップです。
①まず円をドルに両替する。
②ドルで米国社債を買う。
（事前に両替しなくても円貨決済で証券会社経由で
ドルへ両替してダイレクトに買付もできます。）
後は銘柄選別です。たくさんの会社の社債がありますので、
会社の信用度/債券の種類/最終利回りから判断します。
私が以前検討していたものを例に挙げると、
米ドル建てトヨタモータークレジット（TMCC)
2年物（Q0195)、4年物(Q1224)
当時の最終利回りで3％強ありました。
米ドル建てソフトバンク7年物、10年物コーラブル債
当時の最終利回りで4,5％ありました。
コーラブル債とは、早期償還される可能性がある分、
利率が高く設定されています。
（市場金利が低下するほど早期償還される可能性は高くなります。）
早期償還は元本はちゃんと戻て来るので心配ないのですが、
将来予定していた金利収入の当てがなくなるというデメリットです。
プライベートバンク経由で以下含め、私はたくさん紹介してもらいました。
AT&T 30年物 最終利回り5.3％
他にも、30年物で3.5％前後の最終利回りで
アップル マイクロソフト、ジョンソン＆ジョンソンなどあります。
アクサ 永久劣後債 最終利回り8-10％
総じて、日本国内債券の利回りは0.3％～1％未満と低いのに、
なぜ米国社債の利回りは高いのか？
米国の株価が高いとか、米国の会社が太っ腹とか、
そうゆうのが主な利用ではないです。
日米の金利差の恩恵です。
実は発行体が高い金利を付けているのではなく、
円をドルに両替してドルで運用することで付く金利が最も大きいのです。
米国社債の利回りの中身の半分以上はドルの金利なのです。
また、ドル建てで米国社債を持つという事は、
円安に振れれば利が乗るのに対して、
円高に振れれば利が減ります。
例えば、ドル円80円に大きく円高に振れれば、
社債の利息収入など簡単に全て吹き飛びます。
米国社債を運用するという事は、
これはもうFXで円を売ってドルを買う（ドル円を買う）
買いポジを持つのと同じようなものです。
ドル円の買いポジだと、日米金利差の分スワップ金利が日々付きますので、極論、ドル円の買いポジ＝米国債の保有と似ているという見方もできなくないです。
米国債と異なり、FXは固定の金利がつかないので正確には違いますが。
今、米国FRBは2022年まで実質ゼロ金利政策の維持を表明してますので、FXのスワップ金利もつかないし、米国債の利回りもつかないです。
なので、今は米国債、米国社債もこのコロナの影響下では何ともなりません。
だからこそ、2,3年前の米金利3％前後のガンガン利上げしていた時に
米国債を買い付けておけばこの低金利の中、
ゆうゆう3％の固定低金利を毎年享受できていたのです。
次の高金利のチャンスは、少なくとも2023年以降です。
それまでできることといえば、
大きく円高に振れた時に円をドルに両替してドル預金して、
いつでも米国の金融商品を買える準備をしておくことです。
